I came in here to watch the football with my boyfriend, it was really busy with everyone doing the same. Drinks were reasonably priced, due to it being the bar below a hostel. For this reason, the toilets were disgusting with a few odd people walking around downstairs near the cubicles. Not a very classy place to go to, but fine for a beer with the footy.

I visited Belushi’s to watch the football with my friends. While I was not that interested in the game that was on, I love a good match and what better to go with it than a good burger? Or so I thought. After one of my friends had to return his burger because it had cheese while he had explicitly asked for no cheese and my other friend received the wrong salad and the wrong drink(apparently being a girl instantly means you will be given the berry cider instead of the original one even if you just said that you want a cider), I eventually got my burger too. I decided to go for the Bourbon BBQ Melt Burger which boasts mounds of melted cheddar, dripping Jack Daniels sauce smoky bacon, giant onion rings and a generous helping of fries. The burger itself was undercooked and too small of the bun it was served inside. The bacon was more along the lines of burnt to a crisp than smoky and the the onion rings were not only giant but one fit inside the other and were even smaller than the already small patty. As for the cheese, if I hadn’t opened the burger up to find what the burnt thing was(the bacon as I said before) I would not have thought there was any in there. The JD sauce was just dumped on top of everything, I assume to achieve the dripping effect, and just felt sloppy. From someone who uses that sauce in her cooking, that is totally a waste of good sauce. Finally the generous helping of fries, that was probably less than a McDonalds portion and the fries were cold on the inside, leading me to think it was made some time in the past and were kept warm in the kitchen. I was left thinking that the general mentality is that as long as there is football on they can get away with bad food. Needless to say there is no way I will ever order food here again and I think you should stay away too.

Good for mediocre food at moderately high prices. The two times I’ve been here, one element was always the same, the service was poor. The layout of the place is unusual and I think, at least on the ground floor, that adds to the awkwardness. The first time was not busy, yet service was slow. When it was actually busy, the second time, it was tortoise slow! Waited over an hour for a starter. The pitchers of cocktails are expensive and not as strong if you had ordered it by the glass. So why go back? Well, the food is not too bad. A bit better than TGIF, which isn’t a banner endorsement.

A cheap place to go for a night out. It’s sort-of-club with loud music and a small dance floor but without the crazy strobe lights that will give you an epileptic seizure… The crowd is young(ish), my lucky guess would be that the average age is around 25. For anyone looking for company it seemed to work out for most people! ;)

cocktails expensive but limited. Food was terrible even for pub standard. Food greasy, tables unwashed, flies everywhere.

Convenient location, pretty good burgers, but a bit slow on the service for something that looks and feels like a pub. Wouldn’t either recommend nor discourage. If you have a taste card, make sure you book more than an hour in advance. Unlike most other lovely places, they categorically refuse to accept it unless you have adhered to the letter of the law.

To be fair this place probably needs more than 3 stars given the amount of times I have been in here. Theres something about it that I like — and yes well apart from being a sucker for a tourist with an accent I think this place is always friendly and welcomes you with a smile. The staff are young and enthusiastic and often travellers keen for a chat. I have a discount card for drinks here but to be fair I feel the drinks are decent enough prices that i really don’t need to show my card. They have decent cocktails and fish bowls of cocktails and their grub goes down well. I stayed at this hostel for a few nights when I arrived in London and the breakfast is decent too.

Love this place! I stay in the upstairs hostel everytime I am in London and it is such a nice place to chill out… so much so I get spoiled by the place and don’t really want to go out and check out other areas of London! The bartenders are all really nice and friendly, they have sports on constantly, and great music playing as well(though they do overdo Kings of Leon quite a bit!) Free breakfast is available for the hostellers in the mornings, and the bar is great, moderately priced English comfort food(fish and chips and the like). A lot of people from all around visit that place, never before have I experienced such a variety of culture and met so many wonderful people! I will definitely be back here whenever in London!

I happened upon this place at the end of a pub crawl. The drinks are very reasonable and it probably looks like any other Belushi’s but the thing that I LOVE about this place is that they have the best hip-hop night that I’ve been too since moving here. Hip-hop night is every Saturday night from 10 to 12 and I’m happy to report that they play all the current stuff. No «Thong Song» here, thank God! The dance floor in the back of the club is kind of small but if you’re looking for a cheap and cheerful place to dance to hip-hops greatest, then this the place for you.

Reminded me a bit of places I would go when I was younger. That wasn’t a bad thing, but it kind of is now. Its just not my kind of place. Still, the pubs open late doesn’t seem to be so much survival of the fittest, but rather something that rhymes with the famous theory, so this place is a relatively fresh pick amongst the rotten fruit on offer at that time of night. So it’s probably 2 starsbut probably worth more if you are looking at places open after 11pm.

The best thing about this bar is its’ location — right at Hammersmith junction, and not to mention the insane drink specialson a Friday night it’s 2 for 1 Coronas until 9pm. With any Belushi’s bar, you know what to expect, and that is, walls covered with posters, lots of booze, live music and very drunk people at the end of the night. The band Juicebox that plays some Friday nights are an excellent cover band and worth going to see. Don’t come here for a ‘quiet night’ on lemonade. You want to be numbed to the behaviour of the lads and ladettes by the evening’s end!
