Went with my boyfriend for my birthday dinner and it was fabulous. The Tattler calls it the most civilized dining in London — that isn’t hyperbole. The food was proper French brasserie(not the usual British knock off variety) and the prices while not cheap we’re quite reasonable. We ordered an 06 Margaux that was amazing and didn’t have to take out a second mortgage. The service was also very tight. There was a captain making sure that the servers were properly attending to every table. Will go again next time in London.

Consistently excellent with a short, but brilliant menu that caters to every craving. Good wine list as well. A restaurant that never compromises on standard and which has stood the test of time.

Very good French food. I actually went back 2 nights in a row. The service was good, the noise level was good, and the food was exceptional. I hate some of the most expensive French dishes, and my bill was still 30 pounds. A must go back when I am back in London.

A quiet elegance and ambience, attentive and excellent food as well as elegant guests, yet not formal. High class across.

Very basic, unimaginative fare — but attentive service and reasonable prices must be the attraction.

Note, this is a review for the bistro, and not the restaurant… Love coming here for a quick lunch. They always have great sea food(freshly shucked oysters, and a truly fantastic shrimp cocktail). Surprisingly, they also serve Croque-Monsieur(a French toasted sandwich), which tastes fantastic ! Especially with a nice glass of chablis :) Love my bourgogne wine. I recommend.

Delicious. The soupe de poisson is wonderful and the quail perfectly prepared.

Tucked away in Bruton Place off the bustling New Bond Street /Berkely Sq, this stylish, bustling brasserie is a a must-explore venue(good for business lunches) as its thoroughly professional staff make you feel like you;ve been visiting it for years. Run by the former Annabel’s team(owner Gavin Rankin & head chef Stéphane Pacoud) it should come as no suprise that they deliver. predominatnatly french biased menu, simple and beautifully presented dishes such as terrine of foie gras, bouillabaisse, & entrecôte & frites, interspersed with oysters, caviar & truffles. Worth the extra few pounds for celeb spotting too.
