I first came here as a drunken student with a group of friends, all of us looking for a quick and cheap drink prior to a night out, at somewhere that wasn’t a Weatherspoon’s. It wasn’t classy or trendy, and was certainly somewhere I wouldn’t step foot in again, unless that poignant alcohol craving arose mid-walk along Earlsfield high street. So when friend suggested this as a meeting spot prior to a big dinner a few weeks ago, I was hesitant. One foot inside Bar366 however, and I couldn’t believe the change. A total transformation from the cold, wooden-tabled ‘sports’ bar, the place has gone all quirky. The walls are covered with all sorts of fun stuff, and there is even a ceiling menu. The best thing about this bar is the delicious cocktails. The list is pretty extensive and the bartenders do know their stuff. Most were pretty strong, and we definitely had to keep on drinking them whilst my friend screamed after her first Palma violet cocktail«I definitely can’t feel my face anymore, am I having a stroke?». The bar is easy to get to, as it sits just opposite Earlsfield station. It is pretty small and is perfect for a small group or an intimate drink.

i totally checked in on Unilocal after my boyfriend had already ordered me a wine, so i was sad to realise i could have had a half price cocktail(2 for 1 as a Unilocal check in offer… pretty good!) the atmosphere in here was nice — full of candles, lots to look at, and a lovely smell. the bar stools we were sitting on were probably the most uncomfortable seats of all time, and the bathrooms were not very well kept. also i was considering getting a cocktail, but the menu is literally written on the roof, and it’s just the names of the cocktails, and not a description of the ingredients, so i didn’t find that very helpful. the written on the roof quirkiness is fine, but perhaps have a printed version that goes into more details, too? yes, i know the breakdown of the classics, but there was a lot more than the classics up there, and i wanted to indulge! the barman also didn’t really seem like the type to want to field a million questions about the various ingredients in each drink so wine it was! i also thought it was quite pricey for a neighbourhood bar, and i think it would have benefitted from a happy hour(there may have been one, but this wasn’t pointed out to me, or written down anywhere, so if there is, it’s not very well advertised). all in all, it was okay. my wine was good, and cold, and the atmosphere was nice enough, but i wouldn’t rush back.

Nice to see so many locals loving the place. Sadly i think, no more. What was a like-able little place to while some time away has it appears got ideas above its station. The sport obviously was a big pulling point here with the non-antipodean crowd gathering together, but those days are gone. Instead we have a very poor, very overpriced, pathetic attempt at a cocktail bar. Printed wall-paper and empty frames on the wall a-la any poncey Soho bar sets the tone for this disgraceful rehash of everyone else’s ideas. The prices are truly disgusting for the area, making some central London bars cringe. Soft lighting is taken to a new level,(bring night vision) and curtains in the window, I’m not sure why. The staff are the stereotypical, arrogant, waist coat wearing idiots you expect to see in ‘exclusive’ bars. Taking all the time in the world to ‘craft’ your drink while you slowly die of thirst. Some solace can be found in the fact that the owner hasn’t paid too much for the shoddy refit though, but i do hope he/she made their money before choosing this new direction. Sure the bar had its problems in the past, bit too hot when busy, some ‘choice’ drinkers at times, but it was open late, it sold cheap beer and had a decent DJ. Easy to find as it was named after its address. Easy to sit and watch a game with a pint and remain anonymous. This was it’s charm, this was its back bone. Simply slapping the words cocktail bar on something do not make it so So if over priced is what you’re after, here it is. Its here in bundles with arrogance and pretentious. All wrapped up in a place so devoid of soul that they haven’t even given it a different name. Cretins.

Bar 366 is great for a good old night out with friends, the lively atmosphere and buzzing vibe of the place are perfect on a Friday or Saturday night. I’ve always had good fun here and it’s perfect being right opposite Earlsfield train station — no excuse for your lazy north London buddies to come down and share a drink here! The music is an eclectic mix, nothing to outrageous, just a good party vibe. I do like this place, it’s simple good Friday night fun.

Bar 366 enjoys a popular foothold on the Earlsfield local party scene. Though the interior is somewhat aged and the sound could be a little better, any night on the weekend and certain nights during the week see Bar 366 buzzing like a beehive. It’s a late-starting, great venue with good prices and even better music. 366 offers an eclectic selection of music depending on the DJ or musician playing that night. You can hear rock, hip hop and house, or one of the best performances I’ve ever seen in London: A Lenny Kravitz-lookalike who performs with just a guitar and his voice. I’d never seen people dancing so accurately to imaginary drums; or maybe I’d just had one cocktail too many.

This tiny little gem in Earlsfield is one of the best pubs in London. There are plenty of tables and comfy seats and the bar staff are very friendly. They even put out little plates of olives and nuts for you to snack on for free! There is also a charming little beer garden out the back that is lovely in the summer — especially when they put on one of their brilliant barbeques!
