This seemed like a nice little bar when I went with my boss for drinks last week — the wine was very good and reasonably priced given it’s on the Northcote Road, and the staff were friendly. In fact, having sat outside all evening, when it was closing time, they were even lovely enough to put our wine in plastic glasses so we could finish up outside after they’d closed/locked the bar. Seems like a nice place, and I imagine I’ll go back at some point and give the food a go.

Love the revamping of this bar/resto. The food is really nice and one of few places that make good juices. The staff is great, not bad for this area. Thumbs up!

One of the few bars in Wandsworth that I hadn’t, yet always wanted to, try. It has a tall, impressive exterior with a few outside tables — which usually fill up pretty quickly every evening — but offer a nice space on the main road. Inside is fairly dated with the large, high-ceiling’d room filled to maximise the room available. There is live music available on a variety of evenings though without a proper dancer it is a bit redundant. General atmosphere is okay but I will say that — rather cheekily — if you ask for a shot at the bar, as I did, then if you’re not looking then the staff will top it up with water, a completely unacceptable practice and the reason I won’t be returning.

Really fun local bar. The place was very busy and only started to clear out around midnight. The bar staff had a lot of fun and most of the night we were served pretty quickly. The music was pretty fun as well, but there wasn’t a dancing area. Everyone was in a really good mood and up for a good laugh. Really fun bar, I’ll defo be back!

I have been there twice. First time did not like the music– was too heavy and no one was dancing. Decided to go there a few weekends ago as the place looked crowded. wow– Loved it! DJ was amazing, really knew his stuff!

very good place to go when busy and a nice day, spilling out side in the sunshine. The atmosphere can be great when busy.

We totally lucked out after wandering Clapham Common for 20 minutes, hungover and in need of brunch, and deciding Bank looked good enough. Turns out, it was more than good enough, it was awesome. Breakfast options included breakfast burrito, traditional fry up and fried egg sandwich. Lunch options included basic sandwiches, such as a steak and cheese on a baguette(my choice). I really hoped I wouldn’t kick myself after ordering because I was expecting a traditional American style steak and gooey cheese sammie and get something totally different, but luckily I got just what I wanted: well seasoned(and not overdone or dry) red meat. I splurged the extra £3 for chips and did not regret it. Of there were fish and chips in the lunch selections as well. The pub was classic wood tables and chairs, with a great big bar to one side and open floor plan with tall ceilings. Big windows offer views of the busy street and we cozily watched the rain from our table while we sipped our(excellent) bloody marys and cappacinos. It was busy on a Sunday afternoon but not obnoxiously so, and not too loud to have conversation with our group of four. Service was friendly though a tad slow, and I hear they have a fireplace that roars away in the cold months. I will definitely come back for a post-work drink with the husband or another lunch with a small group of friends.

How has this place never been reviewed before? I walk past The Bank regularly and it’s *always* busy. And they always advertise their homemade milkshakes. I’ve been intrigued for ages! Finally made it in this week. Lovely pub for a mid-week drink. It was fairly busy, but with a table or 2 left open. Really friendly bar staff and delicious food(we had the baked camembert with bread and cranberry preserves). I will definitely be going back.(Must try the milkshakes!)

This bar/pub is open plan with a seating section and a long bar, so you can see everyone in the room, so no losing your friends! The drinks however were pretty pricey, considering The Bank is just a step up from a pub. Great place to go after work on a Friday(when you get paid), nice and busy, with a nice crowd.

A pretty standard bar in the popular area of the Northcote Road. Recently changed management, this isn’t a bad place to go to for either a busy Friday/Saturday night, or a quiet Sunday drink. Not highly memorable but one of the better places in the area.
