A brand new store with, I guess, the usual teething problems like getting the doors open.
This is clearly B&Q moving forward as this one has touch screen computers to order your items on (think large iPads).
So unlike the bigger stores there are certain things you cannot pick up yourself I.e. A kitchen cupboard. You have to order it via the touch computers then go to the collection point (think Argos) then get your item to the front if the shop where the tills are. A bit of a palaver really and I think it will add time into how long you are actually in the shop. Personally I prefer being able to pick up what I want when I want.
It’s bright and shiny and they had more staff on the floor than any other branch I have been to so that’s a good thing.
