Asserta Properties

Hi everyone,
I am currently renting from these guys and would like to take legal action against them for a variety of reasons (including breach of contract). Would any of you like to help and be a witness if neccessary? They offer such a bad customer service and rental terms and conditions I am absolutely determined to change their ways even if that means the Court of Law.
Please do get in touch as it sounds like you had an equally distressing experience with them and this has to stop now!

The best thing I can say about Asserta Properties is that they offer uneven service.
On the plus side, they have some fairly decent rentals at semi-​reasonable prices. Their properties are generally located in the less desirable parts of London (e.g. Hendon), but if you’re desperate, they’ll do in a pinch.
On the down side, they seem to lack a certain degree of discretion and selectivity when it comes to the people they’ll rent to.
Thus, while you may get a reasonable price on a reasonable property, you may end up with some of the worst roommates you ever encounter.
Asserta will tell you that you’re moving into a house for «working professionals», when in fact, their type of clientele means that you basically risk moving into a frat house.
I’m currently in that situation.
I live in a house with my boyfriend, two other couples, and three of the most obnoxious single male housemates you’ll ever meet.
They’re dirty, rude, they’ll steal food, party at all hours of the night, and act like you’re a snob if you think it’s unreasonable that they go to bed at 4:30 AM.
When you complain to Asserta, it will take multiple emails before they respond. And even when they do, it’ll take some stern words and angry emails before you can truly get your point across.
So realistically, I can’t recommend them. Trust me when I say you don’t want the stress of dealing with these people.
