Went here looking for meal later on Friday evening after having some drinks with work friends that would absorb some of the booze. What I found was a passible burrito-like wrap with risotto balls, salads, and maybe some chicken. At £5.50 it was by no means expensive but I still felt like I was paying too much. The salads were a tasty mix, but I believe there were only three risotto balls, and a very little bit of chicken. On top of that, the balls were not fresh, rather they had been sitting in a pan all day, although they were my favorite bites of the wrap. We could have also used extra sauce and some spice. Overall this place was different than other cheap eats but there are tastier options in the area.

The Arancini Brothers have taken one of the most popular Sicilian street food dishes(Arancini) and spun out a mini chain of restaurants dedicated to delicious crumbed rice balls from my fatherland. I came in for lunch expecting choose from a myriad of Arancini stuffed with all sorts of fillings, but that’s not what you get here. What you get is one type of plain Arancini — a squished diddy one at that — served in three ways. I found the menu pretty confusing but you effectively get: 1. Arancini with a dip 2. Arancini stuffed in a wrap 3. Arancini with a choice of salad You can also get a meal deal with crisps and a drink. Rather than being an authentic Arancini experience, it’s the fast food equivalent of, erm, Sicilian fast food. Think Subway for Arancini. I’m sure I ordered a chicken wrap which was stuffed with three Arancini and a trio of salads — bean, red cabbage and cucumber. It certainly was filling and there were all sorts of flavours going on in my mouth. The strange thing is that every bite tasted different. I ate the whole thing but it was like nothing I’d tasted before. Inside, the Subway theme continues with the way the menu is presented and also with the décor itself. Maybe I expected more because I know what Arancini should be like. And this was something very different. I’ve got to go back partly through intrigue but also to try the straight Arancini as I couldn’t tell if they were any good stuffed inside a wrap.
