Decent Hair Cut for a reasonable price, £10 on weekdays.
Highlights: They listen and make changes to make sure you like the cut. Good with clippers and simple styles.
Can improve: Take reservations.
Benchmark: One of the few barbershops in the neighborhood so not much competition.
Last cut Jan 2016 and will return.

I love that this place is so close to my house. Old school cheap hair cut but not in a hipster way.
Andy the guy who does the cutting (and possibly everything else) is a proper nice guy. Encouraging the customers to check the length of their hair carefully to check its how they like it.
The shop is light and airy with requisite newspapers on the table and even a toilet in the back, which is a novelty to me. A cut costs £10 on the nose which I like for the simplicity and the price, there is definitely no trickery involved here.
They lose one star just on the fact that I was in a bit of a rush and had to wait for a while even though there was only one person in front of me. It was a Friday lunchtime and there was only one barber so that might improve with future visits. It doesn’t seem to be open when I get home from work so I will probably have to visit on a Saturday to see if they ever employ more than one person.
Regardless of the wait this is where I’m getting all my hair cuts from now on.
