This place has actually changed names… now it is called *J.C.D Dry Cleaners.* When i recently moved house, I discovered to my horror that the new flat had bed bugs, and as part of the treatment, my *entire wardrobe* had to be washed, about a third of which is dry clean only. i woke a million hours a week and have not the time to do all that cleaning, nor the space to hang it all to dry. i took everything to the cleaners just around the corner, all separated out and explained the situation. i was conveniently going on holiday for a week and asked if he could get it all done in a week. not a problem he told me. ha. if only. i came back a week later to Nothing having been done. he said to come back the next day. i did, only to be told he didnt realize how much stuff i had. he showed me his pile for dry cleaning — half of which wasnt even dry clean only! i told him that i had no clothing! i needed something! he said, some back in an hour. and then he gave me sheets and towels… um i cant wear that to work. come back tomorrow, he says. the next day he has a few things for me, but still less then 1⁄3 of what i had given him after 10 days. finally i just took it all back saying i was going to take it somewhere else. ive gone through whats left, there are 3 loads of wash to do, plus 20 things for drycleaning, which i now have to take somewhere else. completely unacceptable. maybe good for the odd one off, but i would never go back again.
