Alchemy

I’ve just recently started doing joga but in my opinion this is the most gorgeous yoga studio. Although I find Alchemy a little bit too serious and with a strong spiritual vibe it has never failed to provide that uplifting experience I am looking for. The studio’s inside is quite bright and open which helps you fell calm immediately after you enter. Due to the fact that I am a joga novice I’ll have to wait a while until I can join the Himalayan
Hatha class since it is for advanced practitioners but I am really looking forward to that as I’ve heard that the teacher is incredible and lots of fun. I got a little confused the first time I looked for the studio because it is situated up some stairs in Camden Stables Market.
Another great feature is the café that offers a fantastic selection of teas and refreshing juices.

Alchemy Centre offers you the overall experience not just scraps of it like the other studios alike. To anyone who have ever stepped inside this great centre it is obvious that the people working here are true professionals who are completely dedicated to making you feel better both physically and mentally. The classes are really diverse and created to match every individual need. The best part is that when I’m done with my yoga class I can always grab a cup of coffee and enjoy one of the many great books. Lately I’ve been thinking of trying their meditation classes and I promise to write a review about my experience once I start it.

Tucked away quietly in the huge tourist trap we all know as Camden Locke is Alchemy, a wonderful yoga and meditation studio. I never would have expected to find such beautiful and serene studios in such a noisy place as Camden Market, but somehow Alchemy pulls it off. And quite well, I might add.
From the moment you step through Alchemy’s doors, you are instantly taken away from the busy city atmosphere and into a wonderful place for your yoga or meditative practise. The studio is so spacious and beautifully lit with natural light.
There are two studios where the classes are offered, one very large and one small. In the waiting room there is a seating area where you can sit down and read a book while enjoying a yogi tea or something from the café. The café provides a great selection of vegan snacks, sandwiches, and sweets, as well as natural juices. The studio also offers showers and lockers, which is very helpful.
The staff here is also extremely friendly and very helpful. I was a bit unsure about what classes I should select for my £10 for 10 days of unlimited classes offer. However, the staff made it easy for me to select just the right classes I was looking for.

Kundanlini, Jivamukti and Afrikan are three of the lesser known styles on offer, whilst if you aren’t a yogi, you can find a sense of peace in one of the many meditation or chanting classes.
Definitely make use of this offer while it is running. Awesome!

My favourite local Yoga place. I have been trying different places for a while and there has always been an excuse for me not to go. Than I discovered Alchemy last year, and I know why! Unless you find a place where you feel totally comfortable, with great yoga instructor, you wont be pushed to want to do it. Now I have been regular Saturday yoga girl for nearly a year and I love it. The vibe, the space, and the people. I really enjoy my saturdays there, class at 10.30 am is Yin yoga, which is very relaxing but challenging too. I have since been to Yoga Retreat with one of their instructors and it has been one of the best holiday I have ever experience. They also have this great thing where you can try 10 sessions for £10 (I think).
The only recomendation is, do pick the teacher you enjoy, as that is the basic of Enjoying the session. :)

I cannot believe that Alchemy does not have a review. All the people it is popular with, must be busy at yoga :-)
You just have to try Alchemy. The café is super, the book selection is super. The standard of the classes is superb, and the way the centre is furnished with every attention to detail is also spot on. It is a real experience and once you are in there, you forget that the busy streets of London are outside.
It is also a real melting pot for like-​minded people.
