Abundance

Okay, so here’s the thing, Abundance is a very sweet little shop on Wandsworth Bridge Road and I always head here when I need a nice gift for a second cousin or other younger member of the family.
The shop has just moved from the bigger premises next door (hope this isn’t a sign that things are going from bad to worse) into the smaller shop that sits next to it. Inside you’ll find a pleasant range of cards, gifts and toys aimed at youngsters. There’s an eclectic mix of gifts from wooden toys to more modern items. I got some really nice birthday cards from here to, especially the one that had a fridge magnet in place of a badge — quite nifty in my humble opinion. And it got a rapturous response from the guy who I sent it to (he lives in Australia) so it definitely hit the right note.
Abundance isn’t a ‘destination’ shop, but if you’re holed up sapping the free wi-​fi in the local Starbucks on Wandsworth Bridge Road and you need a card for that birthday you’ve just forgotten, then this is the place to head to.
p.s you won’t find any of those really really really rude cards in here. Shame, I’m secretly a bit of a potty mouth at heart.
