Just enjoying my chicken escalope in a brown bap with melted cheese and salad as I write this. Hard not to keep diving back for another bite.
Sweet place this. Great to grab a quick take away and also looks nice to sit in. Bit of good looking art on the wall, they’ve made the place feel very welcoming.
Lots of sarnie options with good ingredients and the breads seem nice. Ciabattas etc, not just white and brown sliced. They obviously take care in what they do.
The hot counter looked very good. Lots of choices. Humungous baked potatoes, nice homely looking rice dishes. But I fancied a bap cos it’s sweltering.
Deffo going back for the hot stuff though. Friendly service.
And when I said «Lots of pepper» she did lots of pepper. Always a good sign, yes?
Great small independent place if you feel like sticking your finger up to the corporate world and helping the small man/​woman. Give them a go. It beats Pret and Eat for my money.
