As a sports bar, this place is great. Plenty of room for sitting or standing, and screens everywhere you look. And for a sports bar, it’s pretty clean and full of friendly punters(I guess it was a good game?) Situated in a prime location just outside the station and beside the green, it’s an iconic spot to come with a large group.

Popped along yesterday to take part in their awesome Game Changer event(a monthly video game night they host). Really impressed. Lovely staff, spacious atmosphere, and the event was really well organised too. This little Clapham fore-cracker is one to watch…

Went here for lunch ordered a NY Deli sandwich and waited 15mins for this to come and there was only 6 people here and I was the only that was eating, so a bit long. But there that wasn’t the worst of it my sandwich was missing the most vital part of a New York Deli the pastrami. It arrived with sauerkraut Swiss cheese and thousand island on regular white bread fresh from the toaster. I tell the waiter and he takes it to the kitchen and they tell him they were out of pastrami he asked if I would like bacon instead, I said no ill just take something else. I ordered a fish finger sandwich. The reason that this experience was upsetting was not that they were out of pastrami but it because they tried to deceive me by as sending a veggie deli. So the I got my fish sandwich and it was okay, not good not bad but okay. The best thing there today was the bartender who was hilarious and a genuinely good dude. Note to self come to drink not to eat because it’s seems like the kitchen doesn’t take their jobs serious at all. Overall this was a laughably disappointing experience.
