That would actually just be a two bit the service lady turned it all around. No! — Not because she was stunning but she was simply very polite and did her job really well. She earned the 2nd star. The first star is for the menu. The reason why I went in was the selection on the menu and me craving egg benedicts. Unfortunately, I was a bit surprised after my first bite — they actually messed up the English muffin! I didn’t even know that was possible but that was well-disappointing. The meal in general was lacking flavors but therefore they drowned the eggs in hollandaise sauce. I might not have been really happy but I was full afterwards. At least something, right???

Popped in for a quick breakfast before catching my flight a couopke of weeks ago. I was a bit worried about timings as a moment after sitting down I saw a couple leaving who didn’t have time to eat their food and was asking to have it put in a box. So I thought it’d take ages for the food to get delivered. Luckily I was wrong, they promise to serve your food within 15 minutes(mine arrived in 10). The place is mexican but they have a few british classic options for breakfast, so I had my favourite: salmon benedict. It was nice enough, nothing to shout from the rooftops but not bad. Despite the good service I did have the impression that too few people were covering an area too big, so kudos to them for delivering in time despite being(looking?) understaffed. Nice and affordable, would eat here again before my next flight from Gatwick.

Nice food, nice service, staff polite and reasonably priced. Situated at the North Terminal your stuck for choice but I regularly eat here and have never had bad food. Food doesn’t take long to arrive and always leave fulfilled :-)

The service is extremely friendly and very quick. You can definitely feel confident that you’ll have enough time to eat here before your flight. The food comes out hot and is very tasty. The prices are also very affordable especially considering its location– in an airport!

So what’s the deal with airport food, anyway? No really. After just landing with rumbly tummies in Gatwick airport, our eyes honed in on what seemed unlikely in a London-based airport: an Armadillo grill and its promise for Tex-Mex with a Santa Fe feel! I’m always up for the possibility of burritos, so we orbited right on in for lunch. I was intrigued by the menu, which not only listed several Cajun options(another weakness of mine) but quesadillas and the like side-by-side. I was torn: Cajun pasta or quesadilla with goats cheese? Tex-Mex won out on this day, and I was pleased as punch when my order arrived. My portion was huge and delicious! So much so that when my on-flight meal came out hours later on the way to Morocco, I was a little perturbed by my lingering full tummy. If you’re looking for better-than-average airport food, TOTALLY recommend taking your chances here. Not to mention, the servers were chipper and very nice. A lovely way to wait out your time in between flights :)

We had some time to kill before our flight out of Gatwick North Terminal and thought this would be a good option for lunch. I explained to the server I had food allergies and he immediately produced an ipad where I could choose what I was intolerant to and the ipad would show me menu options that were safe for me to eat. It was amazing! I ended up getting nachos which to be honest weren’t all that amazing but decent enough. My other half got a pulled pork burger which he said was really good. The sauces, bun… everything was delicious. The freshly squeezed orange juice was great too. A great choice for a quick meal.

Armadillo juice is delicious as are the quesadillas & chicken skewers. A bit pricey and the portions are modest but the food is freshly prepared and piping hot. Good menu and customer service.

Service was pretty quick and efficient. Food was better than expected. Had chicken sate sticks and a burger. All quite tasty. Surprisingly well cooked for airport food!

I ate at this Gatwick airport restaurant before flying to Egypt recently, filled up on lunch before heading off. We was lucky that a table became free as we was passing, as it did seem to be busy. Staff were friendly and service was good, food not fantastic but not bad considering the fast turnaround of customers they had. Good and varied choice of food and drinks.
