More than just a library, the resource centre offers a café, a free to use computer suite with internet access, a youth club with outdoor basket ball court and is home to several small newly formed businesses. The library is modern, clean, tidy and offers a very comprehensive childrens section with organinsed activities in the school holidays as well as pictures to colour throughout the year. The adult section stocks a huge variety of books including a large print section and audio books. As part of the Wrexham libraries network it is possilbe to order in any title from any branch in the county free of charge. Llay village pre-school playgroup visit the library on a weekly basis to encourage the children to read and borrow books for pleasure.
