if passing a must see structure, make sure it’s not a windy day

I’ve only ever been over this in a K1 canoe. Hair-raising the first time you look at it, but the views are magnificent. Views of the aquaduct from other points are just as spectacular, so it doesn’t really mater how you are travelling.

I strongly recommend walking(or taking a canal boat) over Thomas Telford and William Jessop’s awe-inspiring aqueduct. It takes the Llangollen Canal over the beautiful River Dee valley and is 1000 feet long and 125 feet high. The views are spectacular. Definitely something not to be missed if you happen to be in north Wales!
