Anglesey Sea Zoo

My then-​partner and I took his two kids to the Sea Zoo, it was a few years ago now though.
The entry price was quite high, but we had travelled a way to get there so we were kind of assuming-​slash-​hoping the price was because of how much there was to see.
It started off well with colourful displays which made good backgrounds for photos! — and of course lots of animals in tanks to look at and discover all sorts about.
There was also a tank which was more open, where they sometimes held demonstrations and allowed the children to pet the stingrays and smaller sharks etc.
But then it ended rather abruptly. We came out the other side into a gift shop, just when we were really getting into it… and after the gift shop was the exit!
Overall quite disappointing for the prices. We only bought a shot glass as a souvenir because everything was rather overpriced.

I’ve visited the sea zoo many times as a child & always remember having a good time & enjoying it. Although, I do remember the prices always being quite expencive.
I recently went again at the begining of the year & even now as an adult, enjoyed it. The prices haven’t really differed & areas of the sea zoo need a lick of paint or two but it’s a fun & educational day out for all the family. There’s something for everyone.

we visited the sea zoo on a day trip to anglesey.
there was 10 of us in total spanning 3 generations but we all had enjoyed our selves.
we spent a good few hours there and something for everyone. there is a large playpark, a huge bouncy castle, mini pirate golf (chargable seperatly), coin operated boats and a lovely café and gift shop. we were there on a very hot day in mid july and it wasnt very busy.
in places its looking somewhat tatty and worn compared to the bigger aquarium chains

As a kid I remember visiting the sea zoo and being enthralled at the fish.
Visiting again a couple of years ago I was a little disappointed to see it really hadn’t changed that much, but then again how much can you change an oversized fish tank.
Its well worth a visit if you have nothing better to do and its raining and you have a couple of children with you.
