Modern life throws up lots of big dilemmas. Will the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats really be able to work together and form a new kind of UK government? Will the recession ever come to an end and the economy blossom again? Will there be any independent record and book stores left at the end of 2010 or will Amazon and iTunes have helped close them all? Right now however, the dilemma I have is much simpler. Should I choose a quarter of lemon sherbets and a quarter of cola cubes or a bag of cherry lips and a licorice whip?!

This traditional, independent sweet shop is located inside Grand Central. As far as I know, it’s the only food shop in Grand Central(unless you count Mandy Moo’s milkshake bar.) So if you’re wandering around looking at all the cool clothes, jewellery, and collectables and you suddenly get peckish, this is a great place to nip in and satisfy your sweet tooth. They don’t seem to be open every day like most of the shops in Grand Central, so you might have to time it right. But it’s certainly worth the visit when they are open as they have jars and jars of sweets lining the shelves, and so much to choose from.
