The Wellington Vaults

The Wellington Vaults is a dark green pub of crumbling shabbiness that stands in a desolate area of Toxteth. From the outside it looks like the kind of local that would feature in a grimy kitchen sink drama although the pellet gun marks spidering in the window panes suggest it may be slightly rougher than that.
The staff and regulars were friendly enough and the drinks were cheaper than a wedding in a wheelbarrow, but the uneasiness gained by thinking of what the place must be like on a bad night is enough to give you daymares. I’d suggest avoiding the place. It ain’t all that.
