The thin crust of this little restaurants pizza reminds me of the time I went to Italy. It’s the way it was supposed to be made and I’m glad I have found this place that I will order pizza from you forever

Been here a few times now. It’s fab. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious and if like me your eyes are bigger than your belly then just ask for a doggy bag

Just thinking about The Little Pizza Kitchen is making my tummy rumble with delight. An independent, neighbourhood pizzeria, it’s been a big hit with locals ever since they opened the doors. The atmosphere is homely, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is made fresh from scratch day in, day out. They serve generous portions of pasta and spaghetti but let’s be honest, the main selling point is their P*I*Z*Z*A. The classic margherita comes with fresh basil and gloriously oozing mozzarella on a bed of home-made tomato sauce and crispy, bubbling crust whilst the roasted veggie usually comes with chargrilled peppers, courgettes and mushrooms. The one that makes my tummy do somersaults however, is Cajun chicken with sweetcorn and onions. Just thinking about it I can smell the smoky spices… Damn you, Unilocal

è poco, molto poco, but this place is perfectly formed. The Little Pizza Kitchen, though quaint, is not quiet; there is a vivacious buzzing atmosphere inside as families dine out on faultless fare. I was taken aback by the size of the restaurant that was full with 30 diners, and I was a little disheartened to be, as I saw it, jammed in by the door. Absorbing the genial atmosphere and impressed by the friendly and attentive staff, I soon relaxed and rather enjoyed the welcome cool breeze through the open door! I ordered a chicken and roast vegetable dish from the specials board, the food was cooked to order and took the necessary time to arrive; it was perfectly cooked, piping hot and absolutely delicious. My guest had a margherita pizza(very exotic) and tried some homemade pineapple sorbet for dessert. I have to say she wasn’t too impressed with the sorbet, it was a rather off-putting brown colour, didn’t really taste like pineapple and she didn’t think it was the right consistency, and at £3.75 for one spoonful expectations were a little higher. Overall a wonderful night in a wonderful restaurant. minuscolo. perfetto

Little Pizza Kitchen is so underrated it’s unbelievable, they trick you into thinking it’s your average pizza joint, when it’s anything but. The food is absolutely delicious and all completely homemade — even the ice cream. I was a bit of a wimp, and just ordered the margerita pizza, which in my opinion is also underrated. It was mind blowing. Who would have thought, dough, tomato sauce and cheese would be so fab?! Aside from pizza’s, they also have a varied Italian menu, and I’ve heard the risotto is also out of this world. Highly recommended.

I seem to be eating a lot of pizza lately for some reason, and surprisingly, I’m not getting sick of it. Or perhaps unsurprisingly, especially if you’ve visited The Little Pizza Kitchen. This is a great family-run business that uses superb quality ingredients to make traditional Italian dishes. I had my favourite anti-pasti of marinated olives and garlic bread, a main of a beautiful roasted salmon pasta dish, and a dessert of sticky toffee slice. By the end of it I couldn’t move, but boy, it was worth it. The service was excellent as the staff recognise their regulars, and if you aren’t a frequent visitor they make an extra-special effort. I loved the friendly feel of the restaurant, it certainly trumped the corporate feel of other pizza venues, such as Pizza Hut and Express. I’ll definitely be visiting again, after I’ve been to the gym.

Great pizza and family friendly. Not the biggest place, but that helps the atmosphere.

went to little pizza kitchen about a month or so ago and going again this Monday & absolutely can’t wait! the food is really really excellent — make sure you get the fresh homemade bread & balsamic/olive oil, it’s amazing! The rest of the food is just as amazing, can highly recommend the mushroom pizette, crab cakes, seafood risotto… the list is endless. we normally head into town when we’re wanting some nice italian food, not anymore. atmosphere is really informal and relaxing, service is great — what more could you ask for! it’s a must if you’re thinking of eating anywhere in Crosby/Waterloo…better than it’s competitors on South Road anyway!

Absolutley delicious pizza place just opened in waterloo. If there is such a definition I would describe it as a ‘micro’ restaurant. I had the cajun chicken pizza with sweet potato hashloved it! My wife had the roasted vegetable pizza with garlic spinach. Would definitely go back and take some vino next time £2p.p. corkage! Outstanding value.
