I have a confession to make.
I might have exaggerated a little when I said Satterthwaites is all about the Bavarian Slices.
Don’t get me wrong, the Bavarian Slices are food of the gods. If I see someone else so much as nibble at one, I can feel my stomach start to somersault. For those that don’t have a sweet tooth however, Satterthwaites is also one of the best places to go to pick up a home-​made pork pie, sausage roll or bacon roll. Everything is made from fresh and the family-​run bakers insist they never use any nasties or preservatives. Just quality butter, flour, eggs, sugar and scouse love.
