Relax in Style? I’d love nothing more.
There’s just one minor problem: the owners of this spacious furniture store have a very particular idea of ‘style’. Whilst my style includes everything from Vitra, Kartel and Ligne Roset furniture to shabby chic, RIS’s style runs the gamut from faux-​Roman and faux-​Baroque dining tables to cheap Colonial and Hunting Lodge style sofas. Admittedly, their glass dining tables and pillarbox red symetrical chairs are bang on trend with the current 80s revival but the square leather sofas and brass beds are shockingly bad.
