Pima at Hilton

The posh interior and features like a DJ from 5 to 10pm on Sunday do little to save a bar that overcharges for drinks that are majority ice. Walk around town a bit and I assure you will you find another bar more worthy of your money.

It’s worth noting Prima separately from the new Hilton hotel in the heart of Liverpool1’s shiny shopping complex as it welcomes non residents to sit within it’s plush interior.
I would not, however recommend sitting within the small annexe booth to the side of the lounge for more than 20 mins — 5 if a bit squiffy — as the colour changing effect combined with the mirrors tend to have a strange effect on you akin to sea-​sickness!
The bar though is very nice as is the covered ‘sun-​terrace’ — optimistic for Liverpool — that has heated lamps making it a good place to enjoy a drink whatever the season. I like the Hilton because it has a 50s/‘60s elegance to it which is maintained in the formal décor — the staff are very attentive and have a very professional demeanour that I liked in these surroundings when paying the slightly more expensive prices.
