Great m&s store in lime street station a little expensive but it’s a city after all although I find liverpool more expensive than manchester. Well back to this place plenty of choices in this store I really made a pig of my self in here buying loads of snacks and chocolate and a bag full of sandwiches cos let’s face it we all know m&s sandwiches are the best. The staff we’re really helpful and polite will definitely be returning next time I’m in liverpool for my snacks for the train journey home.

Perfect pit stop in Lime St station prior to boarding your train to pick up M&S sandwiches or a salad and snacks or even a pre-filled(plastic) glass of wine with peel off lid… so convenient. Friendly staff who call you luv at the checkout.

Marks and Spencer’s Simply Food is situated within Liverpool’s busy Lime Street Station. It is a small store but is well stocked with an excellent variety of sandwiches, wraps, pasta dishes, crisps, confectionery and drinks. They also have a small range of ready meals which is excellent if you are returning from a journey and want to pick up something tasty which takes no time at all to cook. The store is small, but is clean, tidy and well organised. It is easy to find what you want and then head to the till, which is always staffed by someone friendly and chatty who seems happy to be there. The food here is of an excellent quality, as you’d expect from the Marks and Spencer brand. The sandwiches are fresh and well filled and always taste great. This is a good example of getting what you pay for. The food here is not cheap, but it is well worth spending a little bit extra to avoid disappointment.

Nothing usually beats the quality of Marks & Spencer produce, especially every variety of their sandwiches which I love. M&S Simply Food in Lime Street Station is no exception and is the ideal place to grab a quick bite for lunch before or after a train journey. If you are indeed in a hurry, then this is always a great option rather than walking to M&S in the city centre. One thing to note, is that because of its location and convenience to commuters, its prices are normally a touch higher than the main street branch but you couldn’t argue too much. Afterall, at least you’re hardly going to be disappointed since the snacks and drinks are something special. And it’s not just the best of British food here, you can find a gorgeous range of exotic snacks such as Mexican wraps and Sushi which go down just as well. There is occasionally something new and innovative about M&S food too, therefore you can be assured there’s always something that suits your tastes whether you fancy sweet or savoury. Look no further, this is a top(and healthy) choice for chilled food in Lime Street Station!

M and S food in Lime Street Station is just perfect for grabbing some food on your way in or out of Liverpool. It’s a pleasant change from a boots meal deal if you’re looking for lunch as there is a better selection here and the food is much better quality. They sell a range of sandwiches, baguettes and pastas in their lunch section, along with a range of M and S crisps and drinks. They also have part of the shop devoted to tea time meals and often have deals on. As I said, it’s perfect if you’ve got off the train and can’t be bothered cooking anything from fresh when you get home, as it’s all here. The prices are slightly over average for what you’d pay in a supermarket, but this is reflected in the quality of the food. The shop always has a few tills open to avoid queues for those that are rushing to catch a train.

Hola amigos! M&S have just launched a new range of tortillas, spices, sauces and salsas and they’re actually pretty damn D*E*L*I*C*I*O*U*S. So delicious in fact, that I have a sneaking suspicion they must have got a genuine Mexican chef or food lover like Thomasina Myers to act as a consultant. The Green Salsa is made with tomatillos, tequila, jalapenos, lime and coriander, the smokin’ Smokey Chipotle Salsa is made with chipotle chillies, red peppers, smoked paprika, turmeric and tomatoes and the flour tortillas and spice kit in the Enchilada box formed the basis for some kick-ass enchiladas. As for the jalapeño nachos, don’t get me started…

Lets face it, M&S make the best sandwiches. To the largest extent, they make some of the nicest food available to supermarkets around. So it’s always a welcome sight to see an M&S at a station be it a train or motorway service station as the perfect location for a pit stop style lunch break! Slightly higher in price than the equivalent tesco’s comparison, M&S are the perfect solution to a long train journey and the small simply food outlet at Lime Street Station is a perfect way to satisfy any journey inspired hunger. Efficient and delicious as ever, the best choice to make in Lime Street Station!
