Nice and cheap option if you’re wanting something quick and filling where they offer large servings. Had a jumbo sausage and battered fish which were below average. One thing that saved the meal was curry and chips. Recommend anyone eating here to avoid the sausages and fish and go straight for the curry and chips.

This is the best place to get your money worth in kebab terms:) chips, chicken kebab and a can to drink as a deal. They are never shy to pack on loads of meat. Great place for a drunken night, and it’s very close to bold street and church street.

I really can’t understand why are so people like to go this store and buy the fish and chips there. Maybe I just don’t like to eat something fried.

When it comes to quality takeaway food for a cheaper, affordable Price, then Lobster Place is the ideal place for u. I have been there multiple times(3 years to be exact) and I am still not sick of going there to buy food. They provide a large varieties of decent foods available to provide. You get a decent portion of food for the price you pay However the negative aspect of the resturant is that it is less spacious when it comes to standing and waiting for the food. within the building there is only one table with two chairs and in the outside, there are about three tables available to sit and eat. Overall Lobster Pot is a good takeaway restaurant to purchase good food that is worth the money you pay for.

We had arrived late to Liverpool and looking for some fish and chips. It was 9pm and all the restaurants on Albert Dock had closed their kitchens and the one we found couldn’t have kids in it after 6:30pm. Needless to say we wanted fish and chips. We heard about the lobster Pot and found it after a short walk. Not only were my two teenage girls able to get fish and chips but they had a yummy steak and kidney pie!!! I was thrilled and enjoyed the pie with salt and vinegar. The staff were patient as the girls made their choices of what to have with their meal. Overall a great place to eat late in the evening and yummy food! This would have been 5 stars but their seating area was closed and ended up sitting outside where they started to break down that seating area too.

After walking from Albert Dock to Anfield Stadium and exploring a little bit of Liverpool on foot, I was pretty tired and hungry. So I stopped on in for some fish and chips before heading back to my hotel. It was served with salt and vinegar. It was fast food and nothing fancy, but now I understand why they’re known for this combo! I would categorize it as comfort food. The weather was a bit gloomy and rainy, and this was the perfect food for that sort of weather. I was fortunate to find a small table near the back of the place to enjoy the food. I wish that there were places like this back in the States, but all we have that’s similar over in the US are Long John Silver’s and they’re not very good.

Meh, I don’t know what all the hype is. When I arrived it was so hot inside ‘I’ felt like a fried fish. Their was I only one table inside, two outside and none upstairs. Maybe this location is misleading??? I had to pay 2.50 to park in the garage nearby since no parking can be had nearby. I ordered the lunch special fish and chips. It was only 3.50 and came with a ton of chips. It wasn’t very good. The chips were greasy and the fish was soggy-ish. While I ate outside I watched countless construction worker types walk out with big, dripping burgers and other un-pleasantries. Never again.

i went to this chipy the other day and was appalled at the service and the chips were undercooked and very greasy. The man before me got salt poured over his chips that even i was shocked at how much the woman had put on she than added more salt, he went mad at her saying she had ruined the meal she snatched the money from him and said that she had only put abit on. I did ask to try one of the mans chips before he threw them in the bin and it was like eating pure salt.(she should of said did he want chips with his salt) I would never go there again. Come to think of it the alarm bells should have rang as it was lunch time and no queue and only a half asleep girl behind the counter.

Decent chippy in Liverpool. The fish looked a bit small, but it had a nice crispy batter and the chips were tasty! Seating area upstairs was ok, but it was 4pm, so I don’t think I’d go upstairs after 9pm…

Lollipop lollipopp oh lolli lolli pop… why on earth do I mimic this song with Lobster pot lobster pot oh lobster lobster pot… God knows. Perhaps it captures the giddiness of the former(Dr) who knows?. Who cares, the mere thought of Lobster pot with its wholesome name just gets my stomach juices gushing!!! The thought of those succulent battered cods laced with freshly made chunky chips, bathed in curry sauce… it just makes me go weak at the knees and feel dizzy for a bit. Calorie guzling aside this place is truly faultless. So if you are free spirited, and not up your own where the sun don’t shine and are genuine foodies. You will not hesitate for one moment and indulge the Lobster pot!

The Lobster Pot is one of the best and well known chippy’s in Liverpool and is luckily situated across from Central Station which is handy for a late night stop after the pub on your way home! This tends to be the choice for many after a Friday and Saturday night session on the pop although it is also open during the day for lunch time meals. Obviously the fish and chips here are the top recommendation because the batter is perfect — crispy and not all soggy or heavy. There is a wide choice of takeaway meals such as burgers but The Lobster Pot is best for the more traditional chipshop fayre.

The Lobster Pot is a great fish and chip shop right in the centre of Liverpool and it really does deserve its central location. The staff here are great they are always smiling, always working hard and always fast to get you served and fed and on your way again full and happy. This place is great if you fancy a simple cone of chips or something more filling such as a large and delicious fish or even a kebab. The food here is always top notch and not too greasy which is a criticism you could level at most chip shops around the country. The decoration is simple and says everything you need to know about the Lobster Pot it is an honest and simple place which provides fuel for the residents of Mersey side. Job done.

The Lobster Pot is heaven. Fullstop. It has recently moved to a trendier location opposite the Metquarter which will probably mean an increase in prices, but I’m not sure about that yet… will tell you in good time. My first visit to the Lobster Pot was after I heard a ringing endorsement from Radio City. I just happened to be in town, and being a girl from the seaside, I fancied a chippy and I hadn’t found a decent on in the city. The chips are amazing! The chicken is amazing too. It’s not overly greasy so you feel like your drinking the fat the chips have been cooked in, everything is cooked to perfection.

In town and want a good ol’ traditional chippy? Go to Lobster Pot. End of. There is no competition in town for this takeaway. The absolute masters of chips and curry and a well-battered fish, I defy anyone with a hankering for chips to walk past without being drawn in by that mouthwatering scent. There’s seating and a separate counter upstairs where you can purchase bread and butter to soak up the gravy and a cold can to wash it down. Or just take the paper wrapped salt and vinegared greasy goodness to your nearest park bench and enjoy! Long live the Lobster Pot!

Having moved from its former home opposite Liverpool Central train station Lobster Pot has settled into more upmarket surroundings, just a stone’s throw from the trendy and pricey Metquarter. Luckily this hasn’t meant a sudden rise in prices and you can still get the delicious greasy goodness that the chip shop is famous for. This is chip shop food done exactly right. Want a big, fat battered fish? Done. Want a portion of crispy-on-the-outside yet fluffy-on-the-inside chips? Done. Want some sweet and sour or BBQ chicken in a hurry? Done and Done. Want a burger or some fried chicken? I’d probably leave it to be honest. The problem with the move is that you can no longer go and pick up a portion of chips and curry for that drunken train journey home. On the plus side it’s just around the corner from Mathew Street so that evening of Guinness and jukebox favourites can reach a fitting conclusion with an ill-advised battered sausage.

When you are really hungry food always tastes better but I don’t think it was just my appetite, the £1.30 I spent on a large portion of chips at the Lobster Pot was not wasted. They were perfect. A can of pop is 70p. The LP is always busy especially for curry and chips. Presentable polish staff were efficient and served a long queue quickly. There are toilet and seating for about 60 upstairs. A flat screen TV playing music videos provides a little entertainment. They serve kebabs but not pizza. The barbecue chicken was a very bright red and orange. The batter looked good. I had some tasty junk food at the Lobster Pot yesterday. This was my first visit to their newly opened branch in the city centre as they also have another one currently under refurbishment opposite central station. The take-away is well decorated and now has seating upstairs for about 40 – 50 customers in a comfortable environment with a TV screen playing satisfying music.
Food is always cheap and the workers who serve are friendly and approachable to all your needs and enquiries. The service was efficient and meals where good value for money having bought a double cheeseburger(in a salad bun) accompanied by a tray of hot chips for just £3; this definitely filled me up. The chips weren’t the best I’ve had as some were a little browned but overall, a good place to eat in or take out.

This is a great place if you have a hearty appetite and don’t mind that«fast food taste.» The portions are huge and the service is quick. I had the lamb kebab and my friend had the chicken kebab and we shared a basket of fries. Overall the food was a little too greasy for me, however, it was decent enough for the price. I don’t think I would go back there again. Also, that place is hopping so when you order be sure you know what you want because the person behind the counter may not too patient if you are vacillating with decision.

Well i think my rating says it all for this one, its possibly the best takeaway you could find in Liverpool. it offers everything traditional and non-traditional, the staff are friendly and the prices are good. They have recently opened a second chain just opposite the Met Quarter. Drunk?(drink responsibly) then this is the place to visit for your end of night kebab
