Gr8 Pizzas does exactly what it promises by delivering high quality Pizzas to its customers. This place really does keep it simple from both name to service as they get the job done with a smile and the food tastes great as a result. They also provide kebabs and burgers and all of these I would recommend as I can honestly say I have never eaten a bad meal from this establishment. The waiting times here are pretty short and this made a refreshing change to the long waiting times you find in some of its rival establishments. The prices are reasonable here too and there is something for everyone on the whole which makes it a good place to visit in groups. As I have said the staff work with a smile and this is a nice thing to see as you know that passion and attention go into the food you receive.

GR8 Pizza is situated on Aigburth Road, close to the busy Lark Lane area. Unlike most of the takeaways in the area this one has chairs and tables you can sit at and enjoy your food, which is especially good after a night out. The range of food here is as you’d expect: a good range of different pizza’s, burgers, kebabs, chicken and chips. The food is reasonably priced and prepared quickly to order. The staff are friendly and will chat to you as you wait for your food. Like many places in the area there is a definite community feel here. GR8 Pizza also has the option of a delivery service which is efficient, delivering small or large orders in about half an hour, and the delivery people are always very friendly when you answer the door and whether you tip them or not.

The part of Liverpool I live in is chock full of students so as a result inexpensive pizza and kebab shops abound. Even though I’m not a huge fast food person, sometimes I just don’t want to cook and ordering in sounds like a great idea(okay, I admit it– it’s mostly because I don’t want to clean the kitchen). I’ve been told places that serve as pizza/burger/kebab shops are standard and you can’t expect much, but I’ve tried other shops in the area and none of them compare to Gr8. The food is quick whether you order it online or by phone and the delivery people are always really friendly. I have no idea what the shop itself is like since I always order in, and usually just pizzas at that. We tried chips once, but they were more than just a tiny bit soggy. You can order online at or by phone and I believe they deliver fairly late, till midnight or so. Also, if you order more than 7pounds worth of food the delivery charge is waived. If you’re not ordering a pizza, that price may be tough to reach seeing as their food is really cheap, especially their meal deals for regular patrons and students. The pizzas though– wow! I love how the western world butchers pizzas because I am in love with the Mexican and Spicy Meat Feasts Gr8 makes. The crust is thin, crispy and delicious with the meats, cheeses, and other toppings fresh and of pretty decent quality. Plus the end product is barely greasy. I’m never ordering from Papa John’s or Dominoes again– it’s Gr8 all the way for me now on my lazy nights in. Try it: you won’t regret it! I know I haven’t, seeing as just talking about their food has made my mouth water and I’m debating ordering a pizza now.
