Birthdays

Birthdays in Lord Street is a card shop specialising in Birthday cards as you would have guessed by its name. It is not often that I go to this shop because cards are typically pricey and for what you’re getting, you can buy elsewhere for a usually cheaper price without going down on quality.
As well as birthday cards, they sell greetings cards for all sorts of occasions like wedding and anniversary plus other items to celebrate that special occasion like balloons and key rings. They even sell zodiac gifts related to someone’s birth sign such as a flower (carnation) and birthstone (garnet) to represent their horoscope — in this case, Aquarius; these are some items that typical cards shops won’t offer and they can be made to order if not in stock.
A slightly extravagant shop if you’re a card lover; not so if you tend to shy away from things like parties!
