Atlantic Tower

The worst experience of my entire trip to England last August (2010).
I had my laptop stolen from room 802 of this hotel. It is my personal belief that it was an inside job. I arrived, dropped off my things, left to return my rental car and came back to find it gone. Their CCTV discovered a woman had gone in to the fourteen story hotel and left with my backpack in a matter of 17 minutes. There must have been some kind of communication between staff and this stranger in order to pull off this job. Turns out the card key door was faulty and not locking properly.
Staff was no help, and several times thought I had checked out when I hadn’t. They even told the police I had checked out when they arrived for my report, even though I specifically told them to give the police my phone number.
Do not stay at this horrible hotel.
