The Fish Factory

A nice restaurant with a lovely surroundings, which are modern shabby chic, but in a gentle and elegant way that makes it welcoming for all ages.
The fresh caught fish is nice. Even though the Sunday roast probably uses processed meat, it is so nicely cooked along with the vegetables and Yorkshire puddings, it does not really matter. They cook things perfectly.
The service is efficient and fine, but not warm and chatty in a way that makes a person feel loved and welcomed. It is only this that meant it did not get the 5^th star.
However it is a nice, elegant, good value restaurant that I will probably go back to. People there seemed happy chatting and it is a nice place.
It is for people who want good traditional dishes done well, it is not for those who are after adventurous, different cuisine.

Love this place, the best fish n chips in town for a sit down meal. Please bring back the draft Stella though that went perfectly with the grilled cod!
Caters for children well.

This was hands-​down, top five best fish I have ever eaten so far. We walked in fairly late at night without any reservations, but the servers (who were lovely) seated us in 5 mins and then gave our party of three a heads up that our dishes would be some time and if we were hungry, we should get some starters.
We were okay to wait and it was so worth it. The bouillabaisse ordered by my brother, gosh, I wanted to lick his plate clean. In fact I will so order this dish if lucky enough to go back. But my grilled fish (I got the special of the night, forget the type) was pretty fantastic too. The third diner got the same as me, and we both just loved the taste of the marinade which was super clean, and just totally complimented the taste of the fish. We both also found that our seafood dishes were grilled to absolute perfection.
I am so envious of the locals that they have this excellent restaurant in their area. If you are visiting and don’t try a meal here, it would be a real loss. As for me, I need to plan another trip to Littlehampton so can dine here again!

4 stars for the food, only 3 for the service which was a little slow on the uptake. Was a little bit pricy as well but the fish was perfect.

This is a mecca for any seafood lover. The food here is so good and the produce so fresh that you won’t find anything like it for miles. Its a real rustic kind of place and you can’t help but feel relaxed when inside. The staff are friendly and helpful and always offer some advice on which is a good thing to order (there’s so much to choose from!
There’s always something on the menu that has been caught that day which is a real treat to taste but usually go for something from the ‘spoiler’ menu (so called as its good to spoil your self once in a while) and last time went for the Fish Factory Wellington which is like a beef wellington but with cuts of fresh fish in a cheese sauce. Its decadent but absolutely mouth watering!
