Decent place to bring the kids after the swimmers or before the cinema. Food is good but a bit generic e. g chicken goujons etc but they provide Nintendos for the kids and really accommodate them.

We have always had great meals and great experience every time we visit Ed’s. Their customer service is second to none and we always look forward to returning there. Highly recommend their rib rack. Great value for money.

This is one of the two American Diners in this area, however this one has a really cool, retro 1950’s feel to it. This is a really family orientated restaurant, they even have TV’s and Nintendo games consoles especially for the children, so if you have kids, you can be assured that they will be well catered for here! The food on offer is a fabulous range of burgers, steaks, salads, pasta, and my favourite, Mexican. You would need to be the pickiest eater in the world if you didn’t find something you love here! I got the steak and chicken combo Fajitas — one word: Amazing! I saw so many other things I simply loved the look of on the menu, not to mention the temptation as the staff walked past with plates for other diners, so I am looking forward to my next trip to Ed’s Diner! Oh, and they also do themed nights, so don’t forget to keep a look out for them!

Ed’s American Diner at Lagan Valley Leisure Park is only 3 years old, but has quickly established itself in the short time it has been opened, which has probably been assisted by the high levels of footfall that the restaurant would receive in the busy Leisureplex complex. This 150 cover fully licensed restaurant offers not only great steaks & burgers but a range of fresh fish, pasta, Mexican & vegetarian dishes. The restaurant has really expanded upon its menu in the last few years, which is to its benefit, as in the past it was somewhat limited. I have heard mixed reports from others in the past but I have never had a bad experience here! I have had wonderful ribs from here, and my girlfriend’s burger that I snuck a bite off my succulent and full of flavour! As you can expect from a family orientated restaurant, the eating area is quite noisy and boisterous at times. Where i must comment Ed’s is its true family friendly nature. With access to portable DVD players, Nintendo DS consoles and a selection of movies and games, it’s the most child friendly restaurant I have ever seen, which is great for pacifying impatient kids who just want to get to the cinema!
