Lovely restaurant in a hotel. Trying and getting close to Michelin quality presentation and flavours. I’ll definitely go again next time I’m in the area. Very reasonably priced too.

The food and service here was excellent and good value on our easter sunday visit.
We found that every course was superbly balanced, where every item expertly complimented each other.
Some very nice touches, such as horseradish mash with the roast beef and raspberry meringue with the eton mess.
Some outstanding tastes such as with the raspberry sorbet (again with the eton mess).

Very good restaurant and bar. Food was superb when we went for my sons birthday. Reasonable price although soft drinks are «hotel prices».
Great bar and courtyard too with seating overlooking the rear of the castle for those warm summer days! Well worth a visit
