despite the previous review i went here and had a gorgeous meal, loved it as did the others. staff were friendly, helpful and polite. would go back again definately.

We visited Red a few weeks ago. The food was amazing, I was encouraged by the staff to try some new dishes… They tasted amazing. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, they made our night!

Wish I had paid attention to the other review that said the food was poor, thought it may have just been an off nite. I am just in from this place, the service was good, polite and fast however the food was not good, starters, well I had stuffed chicken wings, they were barely cooked enough, fatty and did not have a great flavour. The person I was with had soup and I had to swap with them, the soup was nice.
Onto mains, well the main course was not much better, seasoning is such a basic thing yet there was none, I had to ask for salt as there was none on the rice or in the main course, I had Yellow curry, it was really bland, I know its not meant to be spicy however there is no reason why it should be bland. The person I was with had a prawn dish which was better but still the sauce was a bit bland, I wont be going back, very disappointing. If you have never had popper Thai this is probably ok but if you have had proper Thai then you will give this a 2⁄10.
