Always have a pint in here when in Leicester. CAMRA award winner and not surprising either with the great range of ales. And you can just sit and gave a beer and lively conversation without being deafened by music. Great pub.

A lovely looking award winning local pub with quite a big yard. I was all set to stay a while when it turned out they close at 6pm on a Sunday, which struck me as odd.
I did have enough time to enjoy both a Gower Gold and then subsequently a Three Castles Saxon Archer. Both very good beers.
A nagging sense of déjà vu let me know i must have been here before, almost two decades ago now!
