Went yesterday to test drive a car. Said I would be back first thing this morning. Turned up and was told that someone had phoned and was travelling from Northampton so I couldn’t buy the car as it would be unfair on them. Clearly didn’t see the irony of this. Don’t waste your time with these cowboys.

I went here first to buy a car, I saw one which I was interested in but wanted a day to think it over, I told the people who worked there this and they were happy for me to do this, the next day I called them up and told them that I wanted to buy the car, they said thats fine come on down tomorrow, i agreed to this, when I turned up i didnt see the car there so i thought they must have it somewhere as they know i’m coming down, i asked where the car was and they said they lent it out to a customer because this customer brought a car from them and it broke down. As you can imagine i was not happy with this but i was assured it would be back the next day and they asked me to call them up the next day, i had no choice so i did this, as i called the next day they said the customer still had the car as they were on a hen night, well not my problem is it they should have given this person another car plus they could not tell me when the car would be back they just said to call back the next day. What a joke this company and staff are, I decided to go a few minutes up the road to DJWHYMAN saw a car i liked and brought a car the same day and it was a better car although more expensive but hey they treated me in the correct manner.

We bought a 2005 Citroen Picasso from Granby Car Sales in December 2008. Soon afterwards, the car developed problems with the computer system. John at GCS ensured the problem was completely rectified, faulty parts replaced, and provided a courtesy whilst the picasso was in the garage. We have since purchased a Peogeot 306 for our daughter, and a Fiat Doblo Dynamic for myself. All 3 vehicles are on a service plan at GCS, and we are very happy with work carried out. Our other daughter also has her car serviced there. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. A big thank you to everyone. From David and Elise Wigston Leicester
