Came here shortly after new management took over, so they have not had chance yet to make their mark. Early signs are good in that they at least had some beer!(previous owners ran out at times). While I didn’t think that the beer quality was quite up to some of the other Everards pubs in Leicester, it wasn’t bad and the service was top notch. The pub has a real old charm to it. A place you want to dwell!

This traditional oak-panelled end-of-terrace pub provides a pleasant contrast to the ultra-cool bars that have sprung up along Braunstone Gate over the past ten years. An Everards house, it also hosts a range of guest ales which change rapidly even during the course of an evening. With acoustic nights once or twice a week, it’s a great place to down a few pints of real ale whilst wearing your best wholemeal jumper.
