Having heard wonderful things about this dessert place, I was really excited to finally try their fare. The café is comfortable and family friendly and open ’till late. The menu is extensive, with a wide variety of cakes, baked cheescakes, ice-creams, waffles, milkshakes, coffees and teas. The cakes looked lovely and making a choice wasn’t easy. In the end, the twelve of us decided to get 12 different slices and share. The cakes come with the option of whipped cream or a scoop of ice-cream. We opted for ice-cream and ordered teas and coffees too. I wish I could say something positive about the cakes, but in my opinion, they were all stale and I rushed to rid my palette of the taste with my americano which was also burnt tasting and disappointing. At least the ice-cream was tasty and those that had the desi masala chai, agreed that it tasted just as it should. I won’t be going back, but Aisha’s continues to be popular so maybe we went there on a bad day.
