Woodend’s is a really high quality butcher in my eyes, and one that myself and many other people I know use frequently.
They supply top notch beef, pork and lamb from the local farms in many forms (steaks, medallions, cutlets, carved slices). Woodend’s is also a good bet if you’re lining up a fry up or barbeque — thick bacon, and home-​made burgers and sausages that put the supermarket’s products to shame.
But the best thing about Woodend’s is the hot sandwiches they make for you on the spot, the best of which is the unbelievably tasty chicken and stuffing.
