I had 30 minutes to fill and I was in the Corn Exchange so when I saw tea I leapt at the chance. It was a bit like being in a wine bar except there is no wine and no bar. What there is, however, is a menu of Jeeves and Jericho teas on offer with useful tasting notes and a guide to recommended brew times. I went for the Dales Brew(although a return visit will be made to try some of the other brews on offer) and my pot arrived complete with tea cosy and timer(now the brew guide makes sense). I got just over two cups out of the pot and that cost me £2.60 so it isn’t the cheapest cuppa in town. Having said that it may well be one of the best.

I love coffee & I love the Corn Exchange — so I’m onto a winner here! This is an independent stall set up in the open area within the Corn Exchange, and asides from the various coffee on offer they’ve also got a really extensive range of tea as well(no Tetleys to be found here!). It’s my new favourite Wednesday afternoon hang out while I’m sitting enjoying the surroundings of the Corn Ex.
