I had 30 minutes to fill and I was in the Corn Exchange so when I saw tea I leapt at the chance.
It was a bit like being in a wine bar except there is no wine and no bar. What there is, however, is a menu of Jeeves and Jericho teas on offer with useful tasting notes and a guide to recommended brew times.
I went for the Dales Brew (although a return visit will be made to try some of the other brews on offer) and my pot arrived complete with tea cosy and timer (now the brew guide makes sense). I got just over two cups out of the pot and that cost me £2.60 so it isn’t the cheapest cuppa in town. Having said that it may well be one of the best.

I love coffee & I love the Corn Exchange — so I’m onto a winner here!
This is an independent stall set up in the open area within the Corn Exchange, and asides from the various coffee on offer they’ve also got a really extensive range of tea as well (no Tetleys to be found here!).
It’s my new favourite Wednesday afternoon hang out while I’m sitting enjoying the surroundings of the Corn Ex.
