The Central

This pub must have changed hands about three or four times in as many years so I really hope that under this management it is a success as some obvious improvements have been made to the place. The décor is really cool, with comfy chairs a-​plenty, cosy lighting and a huge map of Leeds adorning the back wall. I have been here after work on a couple of occasions and I have also visited later on in the evening. It seems that after about 7pm the place empties out and becomes a little sad. The staff are friendly, but the drinks are a bit on the steep side. I have yet to try the food but my boyfriend had a sandwich which he said again was overpriced and a bit average. There is plenty more choice on the menu though, and I will definitely be returning to try something from it (in the interests of research of course!)
I am still a bit undecided about this place, for the price of the drinks there are places that I would rather go to just around the corner. However, I would not want to turn anyone off this place, I reckon that with a few more followers, the atmosphere in this place could be great. I am in fact going here tonight on a work night out so I shall check back in with an update soon!
