What a joke this company is and beware as they treat their high end customers like crap (£2500 rent) and not only intimidate you but add tenancy harassment to that as well. I have had to consult a solicitor on legal action against them as they are a nightmare company. One of the directors Gill Spencer tried intimidating me and was totally in breach of tenancy harassment. I’ve got written statements from neighbours stating they received a letter from Spencer’s actually asking them to complain about us because we held a charity event on a Thursday outside in the garden (a big big thank you to all those neighbours who not only gave us the original letter but wrote a statement for us about their own personal experience which this company). I’ve also got statements from people who actually witnessed the irrational behaviour of Gill Spencer when she just parked in front of our gate (which in one incident she blocked our gate with her car), the door men we hired for the charity event to prevent it getting it out of control and at our expense were shocked and disturbed by her behaviour. This was because she not only demanded this event was not going ahead to my partner she tried to get the police to shut it down even tho we had obtained a legal event notice from the council to hold the charity event. So is this really the landlords you want in your life throughout your student years, please reconsider and go ask the neighbours around that property you may be interested in about this company, you will be surprised and shocked at what they will have to say about them. Plus I urge anyone who has been treated terribly or unjustly to come forward and make a complaint on here as its the only way to stop them treating tenants (my partner) unfairly or to let them continue their behaviour and unjust actions against people who rent their properties from them in the future. Sadly to say this is all true and I am willing to talk openly if you contact me and wish to know in more details about this company in full.
