This particular branch of Reiss is very grand looking from the outside with pillars and plants — it is in the Victoria Quarter after all so they might as well go all out. Inside it reminds me of Zara, selling plain, classic yet classy clothes but for a much higher price! It could be better laid out though as many things can’t be seen clearly from the way they are grouped together. I would have expected more from such a place. If you have plenty of money and want to look smart in the office, darling, this is the place to be.

Now how many fab places do we have to splash the shopping cash in Leeds. Loads of them I tell you. A large proportion of my said moolah can be parted with at Reiss but hell is it worth it. I love Reiss as it’s not your run of the mill designer fare. Quirky designs sit along side more classic numbers and I always feel that buying a nice top from there gives me the ideal statement outfit for a decadent night on the tiles. The shoes are ridiculously brilliant too and it’s easy to quickly lose track of those bank balance figures. Reel yourself in and prioritise. Shopping is after all like a war, it needs careful planning. The accessories are top notch too and that’s also led to the opening of a flagship store dedicated to just that. If you want to stand out from the crowd but in a good way go have a look. If you’ve not got many pennies to rub together then don’t. Simples.

Reiss is an extravagant looking shop inside the Victoria Quarter. It looks almost greek with the huge columns that frame the windows. This store offers both mens and womens wear and is aimed at professionals with cash to splash. There are many lovely pieces in here, think of shops like kookai and coast but a little more expensive. It’s a good place to look if you need a special outfit for a party or you have an important interview and the likes.
