So, I went out late last Saturday night and by that I mean that I started my night post 1am. Oh yeah, I’m getting out there and I’m partying like a real 20-something-post-grad-reclaiming-the-good-old-days-type-of-girl. OK, so I was a bit reluctant to be going out quite so late but I’d planned to have a few beers post-Jamnesty and decided that I didn’t want to stay in the house solo, so wrenched myself from my arse-crease in the sofa(I’m feeling eloquent, can’t you tell?), away from my gorgeous cat and out into the night. After having an absolutely excellent time of it and retaining a dignified amount of sobriety, not so much that I was dry but enough not to fall, my com-padres and I realised that after having availed of such an amount of beer, fat evil take away was required. We considered the plethora of options along New Briggate(there is a veritable army of fast food) and settled on this place. Mostly since it was right next to A Metro Taxis. Service was speedy given the influx of drunkards and the staff were reasonably pleasant to boot! Within five minutes I had a basket of chips and cheeseburger to nom. I saved it until we got home and it was exactly what I needed. Greasy, huge and full of bad. I’m not saying it was poor quality, and I’m not saying it was gourmet either, but you know what I’m saying. As take away goes, this place is on the hit list. Don’t expect greatness, but do expect something to fill you up after a good session!
