I moved to Leeds in September and had trouble finding a nail bar that was up to scratch so I was delighted when I discovered Pastille tucked away in Granary Wharf. The staff are all highly trained and, importantly, friendly and chatty. I get quite excited to catch up on their gossip when going in for a manicure! They have a huge range of colours and effects to choose from, as well as some of the cutest nail art I’ve ever seen. Plus the girls are always willing to help with decisions(which I’m bad at) and experimenting(which I love). Prices are great for what you get, and they offer«bundles» where you pay for five treatments in advance and get the sixth free(plus free soak offs if its gel manicure). I also recently got a brow tidy there and was really pleased with the result. It’s been great to see that Pastille is getting steadily busier– I would recommend them to anybody and wouldn’t go anywhere else now! I also have to recommend the lovely Olivia for her nail art(and patience with me) but all of the girls are fantastic!

Pastille opened in August, in the newly regenerated Granary Wharf(used to be the Dark Arches area). They are a small nail salon, offering a comprehensive range of manicures from nail polish, Gelish, Shellac and acrylics. They also do pedicures and have comfy looking chairs with cushy foot baths. All the girls who work there are competent, but also really chatty and friendly. Going in on a Thursday night and having a chat with them whilst sipping a glass of complementary pink bubbly feels more like a night in with the girls! I would highly recommend this to anyone who lives or works in the city centre — it’s just a 5 min walk from the train station and has very reasonable prices.
