This place is right by my work and always the place of choice if I am wanting something hot for lunch. They offer a wide range of panninies, sandwiches aswell as soup and jacket potatoes. I tend to go for the jacket potato which comes with several options of toppings and is served with a side of salad. The jackets are always large and perfectly cooked and the toppings are plentiful. I was tempted by their sandwiches which is served in a crusty baguette. I chose the coronation chicken baguette and it was great. The bread was soft yet crisp on the outside and the filling was plentiful and delicious. There are always places to sit if you want to eat in, the staff are friendly and serve quickly and efficiently. I think this is the perfect place for a quick and tasty lunch for cheap.

Have the occasoinal lunch here. Food is plenty(large jacket with loads a beans). Very friendly people. Do porridge for brekkie which is nice. Slightly more expensive then other places close by, when there is so much choice in one place makes all the difference.

I get my breakfast from here when I’m going to work! I’m a creature of habit and I always have 2 slices of brown toast, buttered & occasionally treat myself to a large skinny latte! This altogether costs £3.00.(the toast is 80p, the rest is coffee) Generally it’s lovely but when they are busy I have occasionally had issues with barely toasted bread or burnt toast, but the issues are few and far between and don’t stop me from being a frequent visitor. The staff are lovely and always try and please, I’m sure if I actually bothered to say anything, they would rectify any issues immediately! They know their regulars which is nice for a chain, no matter how busy they are, you always seem to get service with a smile!

I usually have to pass through the Merrion Centre a few times in my working day and if I’m busy I’ll often grab something for my lunch that I can scoff at my desk. I’d been to Nosh a few times in the past but always thought it was a touch pricey compared to grabbing a meal deal at the Boots store just across the way. However I recently ventured back in as I fancied something different, and noticed they now do a fab meal deal themselves! £3.30 for any sandwich or wrap, crisps and a drink. I’ve been a few times in the last couple of weeks and I’m seriously impressed with the wraps. Crammed with fillings such as felafel & houmous, soft cheese & roasted veg, and chicken tikka, and totally delicious. The meal deal includes the lovely ‘real’ crisps range too, and I can feel myself developing an addiction to the jalapeño flavour! Scrummy and great value. Great stuff.

I was once faced with a long wait at Newcastle railway station in the middle of the night and the only place to sit was a rather dull, uncomfortable room where I waited ages to get a very dull, second rate coffee… sorry, just reminiscing because it was a very similar feeling visiting Nosh this morning. To think I had the pick of places in the city centre to stop off for light refreshment and I chose this place. I can only say that I promise to learn from my mistakes!
