Since when has a visit to the doctor been something you enjoy?
Still, if to the doctor you must go then it may as well be somewhere pleasant and this seems ok to me.
Set aside the receptionist, not because they are unimportant but because doctor’s receptionists seem to be universally obstructive, it’s part of the training and I’m not about to knock stars off just because the receptionists are well trained and besides, they have one of those nifty touch screen thingies to check in so you don’t have to talk to the receptionist much ;)
The waiting area here is pleasant (as waiting areas go) and there are magazines (surprise, surprise) and an info-​monitor.
Getting down to the important stuff though, the doctors here are, in the main, pleasant and skilled (I have felt personally valued and supported and owe a massive debt of gratitude for the early diagnosis of a serious illness within my family)
