We visited here for our anniversary after seeing good reviews from Trip Advisor and a recommendation from a friend. We were pleased with the vegetarian options as there was a good amount, including vegan too. But if you’re a meaty then there is plenty here for you too. Service was brilliant. The waiter took great pride in telling us about his region of South India after which the restaurant is named after. It was very quiet when we visited, with it being midweek in January I guess, and the lack of music dampened the atmosphere somewhat, but this was made up for by the beautiful food. We started with the tikka paneer and the fired aubergine, which was very tasty. And for mains we went with the mushroom masala and vegetable korma. The waiter asked our spice preference, which I always appreciate in Indian restaurants. Medium it was. The food was great and they have a large selection of breads. I recommend this restaurant very much as being up there with the best Indians in Leeds.
