The other night I was in a right pickle. I was running late for dinner with friends and hadn’t even had time to grab a bottle of wine so in the taxi, en route, we requested to stop off at an off licence. Going along Meanwood road into town you could easily be convinced that there’s no where convenient to stop by, we couldn’t think of anywhere, can you? Enter Keith’s. From the outside it looks like a zoo for snacks and magazines, encaged with thick wire mesh, but don’t let it put you off. Inside you’ll find one of the friendliest convenience shop owners I’ve encountered. He greeted me immediately and happily served me a bottle of red. It was a blossom hill at a fiver, but you have the option of buying three for twelve pounds is you wish! All in all, for cigs, basic booze, snacks and the rest give Keith’s a go. He’s lovely!
