I agree with Alex K… prawn toast is amazing from here. With it being closer to us, my friends and I usually order from Cathay but after trying Jade City, i may broaden my horizons again! Prawn toast along with sweet and sour chicken(cantonese style) and ride… yum. Definitely a place i’d like to order from again!

I think I’m right in saying that this is the only Chinese Takeaway on Town Street, and it’s easy to see why. A bright yellow interior that, combined with the smells radiating from the back, wakes you up as you wait patiently for your Chicken Chow Mein and Prawn Toast(which is spectacular). And you don’t have to wait long; the service is excellent. Standard pricing for a Chinese takeaway, but it tastes of a slightly higher quality than most I’ve experienced. Oh, and the portions are huge. If you’re in the area and in need of a Chinese… you don’t have many options. Luckily, Jade City will satisfy your Far-Eastern desires.
