Tried this salon, 27th August via Groupon deal for a Shellac manicure. The directions take you to the back of the building which is very confusing an in turn made me 7 mins late for my appointment– the snotty receptionist(who I also think is the owner or manager) told me she was doing me a favour allowing me to still have my booking(although no-one was waiting) even though she should be making me re-book! I wasn’t offered a drink(even water would have been polite), and the frosty atmosphere in the salon(the nail bar I had to sit at was exposed to the reception area-no privacy!) was not very customer friendly. The nail girl was no a great advert for the treatments on offer! The choice of colours offered would be great– if you only like hideous pink or neon colours– I was looking for a subtle nude and ended up with the most subtle colour they had– gold! Within an hour of leaving the Shellac was lifting, bubbled and creased– all I’d done was drive home! I have never had such a bad job done of my nails & I was due to go to a wedding 2 days later. The day after having the nails done, I went into a cheap nail bar to see if they could rectify what had been done @ Glow– they were also disgusted with the ‘quality’ and it took 20 minutes to scrape and buff off the Shellac and my nails are still suffering! Do not use this place!

This is a salon for the brave among beauty goers. It’s a lovely salon, not over girly so would be a good place for the men to frequent. I say it’s for the brave due to the treatments offered. Yes you can get the usual manicure, pedicure and waxing but there is a whole host of non surgical treatments for the body and face. Diamond dermabration, semi permanent makeup, radio frequency(I didn’t know either) laser teeth whitening and intense pulsed light treatment. A place to go if you have got a bit of cash to spend on the ultimate beauty quest.

So many treatments, so many I do not have a clue about. Permanent and semi-permanent hair removals, skin tone improvers, thread vein removers… Suzanne was happy to chat throw the whole range of treatments and explain how they work and their effectiveness. I’d feel in safe hands with someone who was as confident about talking through the treatments with me. Intrigued I definitely am. Back to things I know; fairly moderately expensive waxing £20 squid for full leg. A cosy little salon where you can relax whilst being beautified in what ever manner you choose — the usual facials, manicures and pedicures are available as well as none-surgical treatments.
