I used these for years as they served beautiful food.
The last time I ordered chicken & cashew nuts with a portion of special fried rice for my friend and chicken in ok sauce and fried rice for me. We ordered an extra portion of chips (love Chinese chips) and a bag of prawn crackers.
When the food arrived I thought we had received someone else’s order. As the price was higher than normal and there didn’t look to be all that we ordered in the delivery.
In both meals the rice had been squeezed into the main dish container, not in separate containers. So the meal portions where almost half what they would normally be.
The chips looked and tasted like a supermarket bargain brand.
The prawn crackers were in a tightly knotted plastic bag and tasted stale.
I immediately rang up to complain.
I was told rather bluntly that food costs more now and portions are smaller.
I am not one to argue over the phone so I just let them know that we wouldn’t be ordering anymore food from them.
This was about a year ago so although not an up to date review, I think it is still helpful as it shows they are not willing to be helpful if there is a problem with your order.
I have now found a much better Chinese takeaway and I have given them their dues here on Unilocal
